Welcome to CNW!

Picture

welcome to cnw!

CNW is a not-for-profit organisation that actively supports Wellington's social services sector organisations and community groups.

We enable our members to connect, empower and support each other - face to face, in real time.

We are an incorporated society, and are registered with the Charities Commission (CC10484).

What we do

monthly meetings

At CNW we provide a vital platform for local non-profit organisations and community groups to gather together.
Our monthly meetings allow our members to collaborate, share and explore important issues impacting our sector.

Have your issues raised and heard at Wellington City Council through their relationship with CNW.

Come for the warmth and shared connection, stay for the knowledge and equipping you'll receive!

Weekly Email Supplements

Members receive weekly email supplements, to ensure our members are kept up to date with events, training and important sector notices that are happening before our newsletter goes out.  This is a useful service for members wanting to get those last minute messages out to the community.

FORTHNIGHTLY Radio Shows

CNW runs a fortnightly community radio show 'Catching Up With Community'
What’s our show about?
Keeping communities connected through discussion on local topical issues.
Showcasing community groups in Wellington who work tirelessly with our vulnerable people.
We host these shows every second Wednesday through out the year, and all our members are welcome to use the show to promote their mahi, highlight a current issue or discuss an upcoming event.
Join us at 1.30pm, on Wellington Access Radio 106.1FM
(Missed a show? Listen to our previous shows here)
